We have added some new and exciting courses to our training roster. These courses give you the power to be an even greater asset to this organization and your community. Please carefully read the descriptions of the courses found below the schedule, what prerequisites a class may have and other information. Please note that all classes are held at the chapter.
Health & Safety Classes

Disaster Classes | |||||
For information about Disaster classes, contact Beth Henson at bethhenson@c-gate.net or call the Chapter at 601-426-9071. *Basic Course - Required for all Volunteers. **Preliminary Courses - Required for DAT Teams. If you have signed up to be on our Disaster Assessment Teams, you must take these classes. **A HAM Radio Class will be taught by David Houston. Please call the Chapter for information on the HAM Radio Course. The date for the class has not been established yet. Please call at least a week before the day of the class to confirm attendance. We will also be mailing out information to you regarding class schedules on a monthly/quarterly basis. Watch for e-mails from the Chapter as well. For volunteers who don't have e-mail, you will be sent a note or called if there are any schedule changes.
